At its last full inspection (November 2024; report published February 2025), inspectors found outcomes for prisoners were poor for purposeful activity; reasonably good for preparation for release; good for safety and respect. It held 161 people at the time, against an operational capacity of 185.
Inspectors rated Jersey's only prison good for safety and respect, but found a serious deterioration in work, training and education since their previous visit in 2017.
